This nest works great would buy again and tell friends to get one
I like that I can control it from anywhere so whenever I get home I can have my house at the temperature I want. Also easy to install.
Works as advertised. Easy to install and operate.
Make sure you have a c wire , it will not work reliably without one
We were not sure if this was going to work with our in floor heating because the thermostats throughout the house have only 2 wires. The battery to the nest was not fully charged so we had doubts when we installed it but after changing the settings to press to wake and dimmed the light to low within an hour the best battery charged so we could connect it yo our app and manage the temp from our phones. No need to install a control wire or run a separate electrical wire to charge nest.
I love this thermostat. It is connected to my Alexa devices plus my phone. It learns your temperature patterns, too. Very convenient and the color looks wonderful with hard wood floors.
We love nest our products- and knew it was a must for our new house. We needed two , since we will have 2 systems and the price couldn't be beat. Nothing on the listing prepared us for what arrived. Both arrived in the same box from Walmart- however one of them had a dirt cheap sticker on it. This didn't sit right with me as these were supposed to be new unused and dirt cheap (while you can get good deals) tends to be open product. The way the plastic was on the box also seemed off on both of them. As they looked resealed and you couldn't see the google seal. I set up a return and took them into my local Walmart within 30 mins. The customer service lady was wonderful and she actually opened both boxes to verify they were in fact brand new and no reseals- that we could tell at least.
